I see nothing but truth on the face of Jesus in this picture. I can imagine Him using this expression when He faced Pilates at His trial. Straight forward, looking directly into His accusers eyes telling them the truth. That was not what His accusers wanted to hear. They wanted Him dead because perhaps they saw the truth in this Man who performed miracles. They feared Him, and so they killed Him. It was this face of truth and Godliness made others afraid. He was a Godly man, and they were liars. Dear, Lord, you are the truth.
