Luke 23:46 — “Father, into your hand I commit my spirit”
After saying these words, Jesus drew his final breath and went to His Father in heaven. These are the words we all have to utter in order to obtain the Kingdom of God. We have to commit our spirit to Jesus to get to our father. Jesus died knowing He was going to heaven. If we died today, could we say the same? Yes, as Christians we have given our life and will to the care of God, and as we breathe our last breath, our spirit will utter these words. Hallelujah.
